Free Initial Chat
Feel free to schedule some time to talk to me for an initial chat about what you would like help with and find out about how solution focused hypnotherapy works to help you achieve the results you need. This is a great way to explore the process further to check it is the right approach for you. There is no obligation to book further sessions and this is purely time to answer your questions or receive advice. It may take a few minutes or a bit longer, around 15 or 20 minutes.
Your initial consultation is our first session together, the beginning of real focus and change. This session is far more than just a consultation. We’ll be understanding what going on for you right now and exploring what you want to achieve as we work together. It helps us create a personalised treatment plan and determine how many sessions may be required. I’ll explain how hypnotherapy works and answer all your questions. We’ll also briefly explore how the mind works in relation to your issues.
You’ll begin to understand why you think, behave and suffer in the way you do and importantly what can be done to help you overcome these issues. We don’t use hypnosis in this first session, but you will receive my hypnotic relaxation download track to listen to home which sets the wheels in motion for your subsequent sessions and helps you sleep deeply.
Subsequent Hypnotherapy Sessions
Subsequent hypnotherapy sessions involve more than just hypnosis. We’ll begin each session talking and exploring the positive things which have happened and focusing on solutions and the promotion of new ideas to identify a way forward. You’ll then relax whilst I guide you into a state of focused attention where your find is more responsive to suggestions to help you in the process of making beneficial changes.
The number of sessions required are different for everyone, because we are all unique in terms of our own feelings and experiences. On average, for anxiety and stress related issues, typically my clients have around 6 – 8 sessions to create lasting positive changes. At the end of each session, we’ll review your progress to understand if you’d benefit from another session.

Changing or cancelling your appointments
Should you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice of your intention to cancel or change your booking otherwise I reserve the right to request the full session fee.
